Porcelain pieces of daily use, simple shaped, that show subtle wood-fired landscapes. Fossilized shells mark the spot where the piece was standing during the firing, and leave space for the ash passages to leave their mark: emerald green rivulets, and light pink tones from volatilized copper. The shell marks become a spot where the finger can rest comfortable when holding the glass.
The accumulation of volatilized ashes during the firing formed a crystalline pool on one of the pieces, and a smaller drop about to fall on the other.
